As many of you already know, our Cup Match vs Texas was cancelled last week due to inclement weather.

We are now scheduled to play them Sunday, February 26th, at 12pm.

We are still recruiting for the Spring 2012 Season! If you're interested in joining rugby, we would love to have you. No experience is necessary! We practice on the Penberthy Fields, Tuesday-Thursday, 7-9pm. If you don't know where the fields are, a map of where you need to go can be found here.

Just come with workout clothes, tennis shoes (cleats if you have then), and a good attitude :)

This week we will be having our New Player Informational Meeting and our first practices of the semester!

The Informational will be held at the Penberthy Club House from 6-7pm, Tuesday, January 22nd.

Then we will have our first practice from 7-9pm, where you can start learning the basics of rugby!

Howdy All!

This Sunday, January 22nd, the Texas A&M Women's Rugby Team will be at the MSC Open House! There we will be handing out fliers and answering any additional questions you might have.

On Monday, January 23rd, we will be having a Fro-Yo Social at Spoons, from 7-8pm! Please come and join us as we enjoy some frozen yogurt and great people. Once again, we will be happy to answer any of your questions regarding our Team, Schedule, or anything else you would like to know!

We are holding a new player informational followed by the first new player practice on Tuesday, September 6 at 6:00pm at the old Penberthy building classroom! All are welcome, and no prior rugby experience is necessary! Just bring cleats if you have them (regular tennis shoes are fine if not!), a water bottle, and wear work out clothes. After two disappointing losses at West playoffs this past weekend to the University of New Mexico (15-10) and Colorado University (25-12), our spring season has come to an end. We are instead turning our focus to fundraising for next year, maintaintaining our fitness, and searching for a head coach for next season! If you or anyone you know is interested in this position, please contact our president, Kelley Storey, whose info can be found in the Contact Us page.

With two big wins against Texas Tech (31-0 and 22-12) we are headed to the West playoffs March 25th and 26th in Norman, OK!

If you're interested in playing, come see us at MSC Open House on Sunday January 23rd from 1-4pm!

If you can't come see us there, join us for an ice cream social on Monday the 24th at 7:30pm at Ben&Jerry's on University Drive.

First practice for new players will be Tuesday the 25th at 8pm at Penberthy fields. Check out the "Join Us" page for more info!

After a tough 6-5 loss in our first ever cup match against Texas Tech, we're heading into the offseason ready for lots of fitness so that we can come back in better shape than ever for our spring season!
